PORT ANGELES, WA-- Fluoridation opponents urged about 45 people Tuesday to ``take the City Council to task'' and let them know they oppose fluoridation of the city's water system.

The two-hour session at the Port Angeles Library was hosted by Clallam County Citizens for Safe Drinking Water.

It included Dr. Eloise Kailin and Sequim businessman Bob Forde as speakers. A video featuring anti-fluoride activist Dr. Hardy Limeback also was shown.

Forde said he wasn't opposed to fluoride as a legal substance, but that he is opposed to it being put in his water supply without the permission of citizens.
