Property Rights Notice - DOE to propose new rule revising Water Quality Standards

from WA Rural Civil Rights League

12/27/02

The Washington State Dept. of Ecology has proposed a new rule that revises Water Quality Standards for all bodies of water in Washington State. If adopted the rule will have a significant impact on most natural resource business, rural residents, and land use policy throughout out the state. Too many ambiguous terms like "best scientific assumption" are used throughout a proposal that will result in significant economic impact on rural communities.

Public comment may be submitted from January 2 through March 7, 2003.
