Hadian speaks in SequimSequim, WA - Shahram Hadian, a candidate for Washington State Governor, urged approximately 150 attendees to,"speak  truth in love, then we retreat if we don't want to offend." He said the truth in love must be spoken.  The Snohomish County resident spoke at a meeting, January 30th, sponsored by Republican Women of Clallam County (RWCC), about his love of our country, our state, and the Constitution. He gave an overview of his biography and warned of the threat of Sharia Law in the United States.

Born in Iran, Hadian shared how his family left there for a better life in America.  "I am a proud US citizen today," he exclaimed. His father took his family and left Iran in 1978. They had been hoping for peace but after the Ayatollah took over, all hope for peace was gone.

"Islam--no peace, I lost all my freedoms... Islam brought oppression”, he said.   He warned that Islam is now happening in America as it has been for the past fifteen years in Europe.

"We are at a point right now where it is all about party politics, and then we look at candidates and principles become almost optional. We have to flip things around and return to our foundation, where it is principles that guide us.  And it is principles that then determine the candidates and the vetting of those candidates, and from there, we work through the party system.  Courageous leadership is required to return our state and nation to the foundational principles that have made America a beacon of light to the world," says Hadian. He states that the first foundational principle is, 'One Nation Under God.'

"We have been systematically lied to since 911," said the candidate. Hadian now is a pastor at Christ the Community Church in Everett. He has also worked in law enforcement as an Everett police officer.  He warned that, "we need to get the corruption out of government". While discussing the fight for freedoms, he described the plight of the Stoneman family, who have been taken to task, by the pharmacy board, for the amount thus far of $300,000. per year. "They have been fighting for three years," noted Hadian. The argument was over religion, he stated.  Hadian announced when he is governor, the pharmacy board will be gone.  "Our religious freedoms are under attack," affirmed Hadian. "This nation is in a crisis, an economic for sure, and moral and also a national security crisis," he warned.

Hadian said we are creating a ‘give me’ generation. He spoke about Planned Parenthood issues. He reminded citizens that the governor has the right to veto.

"I don't support civil unions,” announced Hadian.  Domestic policy law changed in 2010.  He said some would call that a revolution.  There is now ‘parent one’ and ‘parent two’. ‘Partner one’ and ‘partner number two’. "Folks we've been neutered,” exclaimed the candidate.

"I believe in God's principles.  That's our cornerstone," affirmed Hadian. He is concerned about the sanctity of life.  "Common sense legislation must be done." He stated, "I believe every crisis pregnancy facility in the state should have an ultra-sound [machine] "I will veto any  bill with a  single cent for Planned Parenthood. Those are not health care places," he said. It is not education or economic but a moral issue, he stated.

Referring to Superintendent of Public Instruction (SPI) , he said in 2005, education spending was from 8 to almost ten billion dollars. There is a $187 million surplus in education accounts. He asked, "where is the money going?"  He said everyone should put the check registry online and make it public. He encourages back to basics in education.  He referred to the Common Core Standards Bill, sponsored by President Obama. Gay History Law on California books, but not in texts-California's first-of-its-kind, "gay history" law went into effect January 1, 2012, but so far, state educators don't appear to be on the same page.  Given the state's budget crunch, the State Department of Education has released no companion curriculum or textbook revisions to comply with the FAIR Education Act, which requires attention. The Washington Times January 30, 2012.

"One standard fits all," said Hadian.  He said our state sovereignty was given to qualify, while discussing federal funding. You have to change the laws of the state.  "Repeal the senate bill,” he urged.  "Community solves problems, not the government," offered the candidate.

He noted parental rights are under attack.

Hadian would like to see tenure laws for teachers.  He wants to see stopped, the collecting of dues for campaigns, from unions.  "Just as Governor Walker is asking in Wisconsin," he said.  Collective bargaining, which he said the governor negotiates, was discussed. "The governor should declare a fiscal emergency forcing unions to renegotiate," he said.

Regarding small business, Hadian said, "I want to see our state become a right to work state." He added, "nobody should be forced to be a union member." Hadian thinks mandatory wage increase is wrong.  "You should get an increase based on merit," he stated.  He added, "the state must pay prevailing wage."

While discussing environmental issues, Hadian announced, "I think DOE (Department of Ecology) must be gutted."  He also stated," I think the GMA (Growth Management Act) must be repealed.  He said that is what affects the timber industry.  "No it is not going to be easy, but we need to do it," he added.  He said spending needs to be controlled. "I think they are drunk on spending," remarked the candidate.

Addressing illegal immigration, he said, "a billion and a half dollars, our state is spent for illegal immigration. " Driver’s licenses and voting problems were discussed.  "There should be proof of citizenship to vote," he reasoned.  Drug trafficking is a problem," said the former law enforcement officer.  "You cannot ask people if they are here illegally," he announced. "Our state must recognize and bless Israel," said Hadian.  He wants to see a trade bill with Israel as of January 2013.

Questions from the attendees were answered by Hadian.  Judi Hangartner from Port Angeles said she was told the power company would not supply electricity or water to her home if she rejected smart meters. She asked, “Why should government put meters and track information"?

Hadian said someone told him there is a central location where federal has control of the information. He said, "We are seeing loss of your personal freedom and private rights.  It is a priority. I will deal with it."

One man upset with DOE ( Department of Ecology) concerning his property rights.  Hadian said city government has the ability to tell federal agencies they cannot declare without proof. "Where is congress---where is oversight?" announced Hadian, in a separate remark.  He reminded people of recent words from President Obama. "Give me four more years.

If Congress can't do it, I will do it myself." Hadian said. "It is time now to draw the line in the sand, government is getting bigger."

Consumer Protection Act was brought up by another local citizen concerning food labeling.  Hadian said that all Costco meat is Halal meat.  He warned about that labeling on meats. He said there is a bill by Washington State House Republican, Jim McCune. It has to do with truth in labeling act.  (HB 2376)

Small business concerns were discussed by some people. Hadian also discussed education funding.  There were questions about gas taxes and construction projects. He said he will see, "when money is allocated for construction, it must go for that project." He stated he is not in favor of tolling our roads.

He said, “If there is an initiative, I will support it." Hadian also announced, "I do not believe in global warming---property rights are important." He is concerned that statistics for voters, which represent churches. He said the 2010 voting only 70 percent of people voted. Only 24 percent of the churches voted.
