Democracy versus Republic

Every night we hear on the news the term "our democracy". The United States is "not" a democracy - it's a costitutional republic. Following are a couple of videos that are good in helping understand the difference between the two. Pass this on, and let your children see it, since I suspect the public education system is not teaching it, either.
